Johnson to Host Tele-Town Hall on the Republican Government Shutdown
WASHINGTON, DC – On Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 6:30 PM CST, Congresswoman Julie Johnson (TX-32) will host a Tele-Town Hall on the Republican Government Shutdown and answer pressing constituent questions. To participate in Johnson’s Tele-Town Hall, please RSVP at the link here.
“Over the past few weeks, my office has received thousands of letters and calls from my neighbors who are deeply worried about what the Republican government shutdown means for their families, their paychecks, and their health care,” said Johnson. “When Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the White House — and still can’t keep the government open — that’s not governing, it’s chaos. Republicans have refused to return to Washington to do their job to ensure millions of Americans retain access to lifesaving, affordable health care. Their actions are leaving thousands of my constituents with unanswered questions. Texans deserve a government that can do its most basic job: stay open and serve the people.”
Constituents may also stream an audio-only version of the Tele-Town Hall through Johnson’s website, on her official Facebook page, and on her official YouTube channel.
Congresswoman Julie Johnson represents Texas’ 32nd Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives, serving on the Homeland Security Committee, Foreign Affairs Committee, and the House Administration Committee. Her district includes parts of Collin, Dallas, and Denton Counties.
