DALLAS, TX — Congresswoman Julie Johnson (TX-32) is proud to announce that Amy Rodriguez, an 11th-grade student at W.W. Samuell High School in Dallas, has been selected as the winner of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition for Texas’s 32nd District.
Amy’s artwork, Dreamcatcher, captivated the judges with its dynamic lines that convey a sense of movement and its vibrant colors, symbolizing childlike thoughts. Her piece will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for the next year, representing the artistic talent of North Texas.
