WASHINGTON, DC — On Monday, March 23, 2026, Congresswoman Julie Johnson (TX-32) toured Dallas College, highlighting $1.5 million in federal funds that she secured from Congress for the College’s Airframe and Powerplant Program. This funding will enable Dallas College to train a new wave of Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) to meet industry demand. The funding will help Dallas College make renovations and retrofitting of the instructional hangar.
